Summary: AI Photo Editor is an offline-first app. All AI processing (90+ filters, face detection, background removal, OCR) happens entirely on your device. We do not upload your photos to any server. An account is required only for the coin/loyalty system.

We request access to your camera (to take photos) and photo library (to select images for editing and to save your edited photos). Photos are never uploaded to our servers. All processing — including AI filters, background removal, face detection, and OCR — happens locally on your device using on-device machine learning models.
✅ Your photos stay on your device. We never transmit, store, or analyse your photo content on any server.
We do not sell your personal data to any third party for their own marketing or advertising purposes.

You can view and edit your profile at any time from the Edit Profile screen within the app.
You can permanently delete your account directly within the app:
Settings → Delete Account
This deletes: your Firebase Auth account, Firestore profile and coin data, Firebase Storage profile image, and referral records. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
You can disable push notifications at any time through your device's system settings (iOS: Settings → Notifications → AI Photo Editor; Android: Settings → Apps → AI Photo Editor → Notifications).
On iOS 14.5+, you will be shown an App Tracking Transparency prompt before personalised ads are displayed. You can choose "Ask App Not to Track" to receive non-personalised ads. On Android, you can reset or opt out of ad personalisation in your Google account settings.

AI Photo Editor is intended for users aged 13 and older.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our sign-up screen requires users to enter their age and prevents account creation for users under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at the email below and we will delete the information.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the EEA, including the United States, where our Firebase servers are located. Google LLC participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses apply.
Under GDPR you have the right to: access your data, correct your data, delete your data (via the in-app Delete Account feature), restrict processing, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the "sale" of personal information. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Firebase Analytics and AdMob use your data to provide services to us, not for their own independent marketing, and do not constitute a "sale" under CCPA.
